  • How to make your own deodorant | How About Orange

I made homemade deodorant using a recipe found on How About Orange. It consists of: baking soda, arrowroot (or cornstarch), coconut oil, and a few drops of essential oil.

After learning about the dangers of antiperspirants (and seeing the high prices of the “natural” alternatives), it was my conclusion that I can no longer knowingly subject myself to breast cancer and Alzheimer’s (among a list of other diseases and health complications).

Challenge to my readers: Why not try making your own homemade deodorant? It’s incredibly inexpensive, smells fantastic, and is long-lasting. If you’re thrifty and health-conscious like me, this is something to get excited about.
